Did you know the average person will make a career change 5-7 times during their life?
Well, I wouldn’t consider most of my jobs a career, but I left the actual workforce at a pretty young age (about a month after my 22nd birthday.)
We’ll start with my first job. Good ol’ McDonald’s. Where I lived, it seemed there was one of two places to get a job – McDonald’s or the grocery store. I was 15 and was bound and determined to find a job so I could buy a car as soon as I got my driver’s license. (This didn’t happen. I passed my driver’s test on my 16th birthday and drove a full-size van all summer – which I WAS thankful my parents had it laying around.) Continue reading
